Little kids enter the preschool with backpacks that appear to be too large in comparison to their weak bodies. Backpacks swing from their shoulders, yet they walk proudly. Leaving parents can be a tough and emotional moment. A child might enter cheerfully, waving without concern. Others cling to a parent, pleading for them not to leave. It can be a difficult moment. However, something intriguing usually occurs, a few minutes after that, the very same child can be laughing and playing with others, perhaps even with a toy dinosaur with a missing leg.

The significance of imagination in preschool is greater than that of logic. Children are not afraid to express themselves the way they want.
One of the largest challenges is the ability to share. In this case, one red toy truck and three children may want to play with it. This can cause arguments and shouting. Teachers step in and ask, “What should we do?” Initially, the children might be ignorant of what to say. Over time, they learn solutions like taking turns. Although one child is not a hundred percent happy, he/she is taught to embrace the concept. These minor incidences are educative to the social aspect.
Errors occur everywhere in pre-school and that is good. Glue spills, block towers topple, and names are forgotten. Mistakes help children learn. Their learning is not through sitting around and doing nothing. Other children are very talkative and tell tales and ask numerous questions. Other kids are quiet and observe. Both types are learning in their own way.
To adults, the art activities might appear untidy or ambiguous. A child can demonstrate a purple drawing and state that this is his dad cooking. It might not appear so to other people but it is significant to the child. Being creative is more important than being perfect.
There is gradual but certain independence. The first time a child opens his lunchbox, he/she does it without assistance. Another one can eventually learn how to tie their shoes after failing in their attempt. Small achievements are very meaningful. They build confidence and self-esteem.
Teachers manage a significant, tough role. They manage many emotions at once. One may be sad, another angry, and another excited. Educators give calm guidance and instructions. Teachers create a safe space for every child.
At times, parents have concerns regarding the development of the child. Preschool is not a competition. It’s like sowing seeds. Learning speed varies among children. Each child grows in their own way.
Children tell simple stories at the conclusion of the day. They can say, I ran fast, or I painted, or even I cried, but then I was better. Preschool can be loud and chaotic, yet full of learning.
